I have been sending literature and bibles to Nepal from your last packages. The churches are facing great suffering and threatening the life of pastors and leaders. Also, they have given notice to close down all churches in Nepal. The Christians are facing threats from both sides - the Maoists (communists) as well as the Government. They have asked the Christians to stop the worshipping and close all churches. Many churches have closed and the believers are now worshipping secretly. The door for the Gospel was opened for Nepal just a few years back and the response of the people to the Gospel of the Lord was tremendous, but suddenly persecution comes. Nepal needs prayer support. One of my friend who used to carry bibles and literature has not come back since February. I believe he is alright but please pray for him. The Lord is blessing our church here and we are constructing another building since the present one has become to small.

The children material that you send us are a great blessing and these are widely used by parents, Sunday School Teachers and child evangelists in many parts of India. Recently India Bible Literature conducted a Children Rally where 1000 children gathered. They participated enthusiastically in skits, learning the action songs, dancing and were very receptive to the Word of God. Love Packages literature was given to them all.

Glory to god! This is a copy of a testimony from our church concerning literature evangelism My name is Suresh Kuamr from Nagar .KGF. I was addicted with drugs and alcohol since 5 year from my pre- university college, even though I did not want to use it . I was addicted too much in taking alcohol and drugs, and I started to beat my parents and family members, I was giving so much trouble to others in the society. When ever I don’t get money to buy the drugs I started to do theft from the houses and shops etc. regarding robber case police arrested me and put me in the jail for 6 months, then I came out from the jail with too much disappointed in the life. That is the time pastor manovah and his friends met me and gave gospel message booklets tittle called , "Answer to life’s problems" and " The truth shall set you free" these two books have touched my heart deeply, when pastor explained God’s message, and prayed for me by putting his hands up on my head, at the same time unknowingly tears came from my eyes and I felt somekind happiness in my life , from that time I felt something change in my life. So I started to pray and to read continually the new testament bible. I thank God for great salvation and happiness in my life, now I AM having peace and joy in my life that world cannot give. Shortly, I will be taking baptism when our church pastor says. And I also wish to join the evangelism team to reach many other youths those who destroying their life in the bad habit especially in the college students and others. Thank you very much for the box containing bibles. With your prayerfully support, we have been able to help Pastors and missionaries with bibles and other books and the works of evangelism were expanded and the glorious message of Gods saving power had reached many regions of this part of the world, but still there are millions souls around us who have never heard the gospel of Jesus Christ and His saving power. We have no words to say how grateful we are to distribute your valuable materials. India Bible Literature is right now vigorously working towards reaching the children of India who are about 45% of the total population of India. Your valuable literature for children has come to us at a right time when we were lacking the right tool to achieve our goal. A Child evangelist who got the children pack gave an illustration:
A doctor was traveling in a train and the train met with an accident. Many were injured and someone called out “Is there a doctor in the train?”. The doctor rose eagerly to help but to his dismay he did not have the medicine kit to render his services.
I was like this doctor who did not have the tools to reach out to the children of India in this crime filled times and now I am so happy to get these kits from IBL which are so useful and real blessing to my evangelistic work among children”.
We never had any books for children especially for youth and now most of the Christian Schools in many parts of India have stocked their libraries with the valuable youth Bible Study periodicals and magazines that you sent us and are using these for their Christian Doctrine classes. Every year we conduct Children Bible Schools Teachers Training Programme for 400 Sunday School Teachers and Leaders during summer to train them to conduct VBS classes for children in their respective areas. Over the last couple of years (ever since we received your container loads of literature) everyone who came for the training took your literature and said that these are very useful for their youth ministry.

I am happy to hear and receive reports from many friends and gospel workers from different churches and different regions of how they are blessed by the videos which you sent earlier. People have written to me and some have come by to personally express their gratitude for the circulation of the gospel videos. Many were touched by the messages. Love Packages is effective in reaching non-believers with the gospel. One school head master came and requested more video tapes. He used the tapes in his school and told me that many of the non-Christian students love to watch the videos.

I am so grateful to you for your love and prayer which you have been support me and our literatures ministry for the last many years, and we thank God for the blessing which He has blessed us with many souls which God saved them through the literatures ministry. And ten of thousand more people who live in darkness have come to the knowledge of God love and saving power of Jesus Christ with the help of literatures.
People who worship the superstitious spirits and live in a place where the gospel has never preached, but by the help of literatures they have seen great light of the gospel. Today in these same regions ten of thousands are WORSHIPPING THE LORD 3 - 4 times a week. Again last week some of our youths visited a village in which not a single person are Christian, but it surprising to the teams when the Headman of the village are so happy to receive them and requested them to stay at his home, and calling all the villagers to his house and requesting our youths to tell them the story of Jesus. He told them he read in a tract about Jesus, and were so happy and they start to sing and preached to them and they stay there for 2 days and the people of that village are requesting them to come again and sing and tell them the love story of Jesus Christ and the headman have decided to follow Jesus.. There is many wonderful thing happened in many places, I cannot give you all detail but just to let you know how the printing pages of God word is effective in reaching the lost to Christ.

I am so grateful for your prayer and help me with Bibles and literatures, also I am thanking God for given me privilege to witness Jesus Christ and His gospel of Salvation and deliverance to the heathens. In the month of February last I have been invited to share the word of God to the men’s fellowship and also I distributed some literatures and at night I showed the film to the villagers. Most of the villagers are non-Christian, many of them come from far away walking to seee the film and hear the gospel of Jesus. I was thrilled to see people weep and repent and many of them received Christ in their heart. On the last of the fellowship, 70 people were baptized in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongue and prophecy. Many believers were touched by the Spirit of the Lord and rededicated their life to Christ.
Again in the month of March I went to the Hindu village with the youth and we screen in the centre of the village and show film and preached after the show. It is a joy to see some 300 people come and we could preach to them the gospel of Jesus Christ. According to them, there is not a single Christian in their village and it is a first time in their life to have heard and see the story of Jesus Christ. Thank God for giving us this wonderful privilege and also God has protected us from any unwanted situations, because many preachers have tried to preach in that village but were threatened. In the very same area some people beat one Evangelist to death last year. I believe the seeds we sow will spring up some time.

The bibles and books I have given to the people of Burma who came to collect Christian reading materials and bibles. They walked for 4 days since there is no vehicle able road. We need more to share with Christians in Nepal as I had very few left to give them.

The magazines were distributed to the Christians here to help them grow. I was very happy and thrilled to hear report from our missionaries friends that many heathens have been converted and were baptized and 2 churches have been established and a Buddhist monk was also converted and baptized! We praise and thank the Lord for His word. It is the word of God which we preached the only true way of salvation.

Thank you very much for the Love Package which we have just received. We are so happy and we are grateful to you for love and concern for the lost souls. Though our outreaching is slow but the Lord is blessing us with more souls. Recently 2 brothers came to Kohima from Bhutan area and they are seeking to be baptized - they are BUDDHIST! According to their testimony, while they were study in the college in West Bengel, someone gave them a magazine and tract. After going through the tracts and magazine they found out salvation is the gift of God and only one way and that is through Jesus Christ.
And they have been searching for peace and assurance in their own religions for many years but there is no peace nor assurance for their salvation, but after reading Christian magazine they started to go to the Full Gospel Fellowship near their college and were convinced that Jesus is the only hope of their salvation. So they decided to accept Jesus and desired to be baptized. They went home during vacation and told their mother about their decision to become Christian. She is a highly educated person and she had been reading some Christian books but had not converted. She did not oppose them but told them they would have to get baptized in Kohima not Bhutan. After they got baptized, they came to my house and I presented each of them with a new bible. They are so happy.

Evangelism report and testimony for the glory of god. By the grace of God, one day we as a evangelism team went for the gospel tracts distribution ministries in the Slum area where nobody is not reached with gospel , but we went there and distributed gospel literatures and books to them and we had open air gospel meetings in the street and we sang few songs and preached and finally we started to pray for the sick people , PRAISE THE LORD , it was a amazing to see the miracle healing and deliverance from the bondage of witchcraft , demon possessed and sin. Thereafter these miracles healing had reached many areas. By hearing the above testimony the next area -south tank block- people and leader of that area requested us to conduct prayer and gospel meetings, so in midst of great financial crisis, we accepted their invitation AND they requested us to bear the part of gospel meetings expenses like, to HIRE SOUND SYSTEMS, music, our travel. But they provided lighting and other arrangements. However, by the leading of the Holy Spirit we conducted gospel and healing prayer meetings with our church co-workers. While preaching the word of God you see how people keenly hearing the gospel. After the message, I gave altar call to the public people, it was a great miracle more than 20 people accepted Jesus Christ as saviour. During healing prayer time many have touched by god and healed from the very worst sickness.
1) Here I would like to give copy of the testimonies that one Mr. Murthy he is a leader of the area committee his age could be around 55, he gave testimony in the public that I understood now that only Jesus is the real God and saviour of human life, only He can save a mankind from hell and only Jesus can give a real eternal life. The above mentioned person is a strong Hindu man and also he is a secretary of the local Hindu temple. He said that he was suffering with severe back pain and neck pain but as you are all praying I felt that something electric shock in my body then immediately my back pain all gone!
2) After our gospel meetings many other people also came and received booklets and New Testament bible I will send some more testimonies that gave in the meetings. Really your books and booklets and other materials are greatly helping us to share gospel to others.

I have sent bibles and books to Nepal and also the people from Upper Burma came and carried some bibles and new testaments and they said that they cannot carry a big load because they have to walk on foot after crossing Indian border. Again this week 2 pastors from Lower Burma came for a seminar at Christ For the Nations - Kohima and before going back they came to me and request to help them with what so ever possible literatures and bibles and they were happy because I gave them 2 bibles and some books. I used to keep reserve bibles for the peoples from far away who come to us unnoticed, they have to walk on foot for 8 or 9 days to reach Indian border then they can get buses to reach Kohima in 2 days.

I have already sent 4 of the 10 packages I received to Bhutan (Bhuddist country). Christianity is strictly forbidden but the secret believers are requesting bibles and reading materials. I also sent 15 bibles and books to Bodoland to help the believers, also to Burma and West Bengal. There are thousands of testimonies from people who converted after reading of literature and bibles. There are many who is desired to read the bible, but they are poor and cannot afford to buy one, but by the grace of God and through Love Packages, they are getting one free. God is blessing us and also many souls were blessed.

Testimony for the glory of god.
Thank god for using literature ministry very effectively to reach every person through the spiritual books, we strongly believe and fully experienced that literature are great tools to convey the gospel to the person first time whom we meet first time, because when we meet somebody first time he will not respond more to us. BUT JUST we give some gospel literature him / them. As they receive it and they start read the books that we give them, we also put stamp our church address in every books. Through this type ministry god has touched many of the souls, and after reading the tracts and books they contact us for further books, nearly 30 person are asking us full bible and new testaments.

I have written to inform you that I have been away most of late last year and part of this year too. The reason is that the film ministry has really picked up wonderfully, so I move from place to place showing the Jesus film. Many pastors have now known that I have a film projector and the demand is high since I do not charge any fee. My brother and friend, take it from me hundreds and hundreds of people have come to Jesus and I am overjoyed and give God all the glory and thanks to you. Brother, thank you so much for this projector machine that you sent us. Eternity alone will tell what you did and how many people came to Jesus as a result.

We were thrilled when our youth returned back safely from their journey with the good news. The Lord worked a miracle as they carried boxes of Bibles and New Testaments to the believers in Bhutan. At the check gate the Police did not look into the boxes, only their personal belongings. They ignored the boxes just as the team had been praying. The request for Bibles was so great and they wanted to distribute them to the needy ones. After the check gate they were praising God for the miracle. They then contacted the believers and stayed with them for 4 days, and gave them the Word of God. They left all of the Bibles with them.
All of the secret believers were very much encouraged, and strengthened in their faith. We hope and pray that Love Packages will continue to help us and pray God’s blessings be upon you.

Thank you very much for another 5 boxes of the Love Packages which came to me this week. The consignment which I received earlier, I have sent through our carriage to the Pastors of Arunachal Pradesh. The churches in Arunachal Pradesh desperately need many Bible and reading materials. The Holy Spirit is moving mightily in that forbidden regions, the revival fire is burning in the hearts of the believers with a great desire to witness and reach as much as possible lost souls for Christ. There are thousands newly converted and many of them are educated - they are desires to read the Bible, but Bible is not available in their area, so that they are requesting us to arrange and help them. All the bibles and reading materials which I received from you I sent them to that regions. We cannot send by other means except by carriage since the law is banned on Christian missions etc. and Bible and other materials also are not allowed, so when they suspect of such consignment they are destroyed. But thank God our consignment has reached the destination safely. The Lord has blessed and greatly helped the pastors and the churches in many parts of this regions through the Love Package ministry. The poor Sunday school children was blessed as well as many believers was blessed by the Love Packages. God also confirmed His words with miracles and wonder. Healing and deliverance took place to many people who request prayer from their pastors and evangelists.

I am thankful to the Lord for His many blessings which he has blessed us with these past years as a result of the literature ministry. We have distributed much in the past few years, and we were thrilled when our brothers from across the border came and reported the effectiveness of the literature in their region. This week 3 brothers from Burma came to collect more literature and Bibles and told us that in their region they have established 17 new churches and more are coming up. This is because of the literatures. In India there have been many changes in the past few months. Christians are being harassed, burning of churches, and hindrance of the movement of our workers. Preaching has become very difficult, but we are continuing our outreaches, even in the difficulty. We believe it is the work of the devil who wants to stop the gospel, because he knows his day is short. In this regard, please pray for the churches in India that we may have boldness to work and spread the good news of Jesus Christ.

Yesterday I visited the general hospital and was talking to some patients when the chaplain of the hospital came in. He reminded me of the need to distribute spiritual literature. He begged me to give him as much as I could. Many Hindus, Muslims, and Buddhists come for treatment and are eager to receive literature. Currently we have insufficient literature, but I promised I would give them some when we got more from Love Packages.

Thank you very much for another box of Love Packages we received here last week. I am so happy for the materials which I could give to the ministers of the Gospel who are requesting literature. A report reached me that many people were touched by the cassette tapes, some have received Christ as their Saviour and Lord. Another pastor said that many in his church were touched by the messages and teaching and he told me they had tears in their eyes. It has really filled our hearts to see more souls coming to Christ. Some Muslim and Hindus are coming to hear the gospel because of the literature. One Muslim told me that while listening to the gospel he saw a vision of Jesus. He is now a believer. I thank God for you and the packages of books and literature that you sent to us. It’s a great privilege for us to receive books from you and to distribute them among the unreached people. Really your books and materials help us a lot in reaching many souls and many homes.
We are doing this literature ministry through our assistants and co-workers. In fact there is a good response for your quality books. Within a few weeks we received testimony from non Christians and others that said that the books have touched their hearts and they have repented from sin and have accepted Christ. The traveling missionaries we have, have formed groups of 5 person teams and they travel to many unreached regions and carry a lot of Bibles and literatures. They were getting ready to move to the North Burma and Arunachal Pradesh regions and came to me and requested as much Bibles and literature as I could give them. I didn’t have hardly any, and they said they could not go without Bibles and literature because those who have already accepted Christ are waiting for them to bring them Bibles and reading materials. So it was a great joy for me and my missionary friends when these packages arrived. Now we are re-packing and they are ready to be carried on there long journey. I have kept a few Bibles for the lower Burma, they may be here at any time. Brother I can not express my gratitude enough. Because of your vision millions of souls have been saved. Most of the regions, the Gospel of Jesus Christ cannot be proclaimed freely as it is in your country. No preachers, missionaries, or evangelists is allowed, but thank God your Love Packages have first penetrated into those regions and now there are so many believers. We will continue working and believing there are millions who are yet to be saved.

Thank you so much. People are coming from far and near for literatures and Bibles. We received a package of Bibles this last week. I bow my head and thank the Lord for the love and concern which has bound our hearts together. Though we are far away from each other, our hearts are nearer each day and my prayer is that God would protect you and guide you so that we may be able to work and win more souls to Christ before He returns. I will keep these Bibles for distribution in the border areas. We are continuing with our distribution with whatever literature we have available. I am so happy to receive reports from our missionaries who went to the border areas with Bibles and other literatures during October and November. During that time they baptized 105 people and gave them Bibles and other reading materials. Though there are many who are threatening, and harassment from others who oppose the Gospel, still people are hungry for the Word of God and have come forward to receive Christ. The church is growing on the Indo-China, and Indo-Burma borders. The Holy Spirit is working wonderfully by healing and delivering many. The literature is really helping. The purpose of this writing is just to share with you about our outreach ministry. We have visited Nepal and Bhutan as an follow-up work since we have distributed large amounts of literature there in the past. Though we cannot preach in Bhutan, yet we had wonderful fellowship with the believers, and two new brothers were baptized. Our missionaries are doing a good job by going inside Bhutan and having secret fellowships with those believers and giving Bibles and other Christian books. In such a place there is no other way to reach these lost souls except through literature. With the help of literature many souls have been saved. In Nepal, it happened at a village very close to Tibet. This village had never had the Gospel before, all the people were Hindu, and earned their living by cattle farming, selling milk and butter. But last year there was a cattle epidemic in that area and many cows died. One man had 36 cows, and within one month 20 cows died. Many treatments could not stop the disease. 7 more died. He was desperate, so he made many sacrifices to his god’s but nothing helped him. One day he was searching for medicine in town and he received a tract from one of our team. That day after returning he found 3 more cows dead. After he buried them, he was sitting with a very heavy heart, when he reached in his pocket and found the tract. It said “Come unto me all you who are heavy laden and I will give you rest.” The tract told him about Christ and how He healed the sick and raised the dead. After reading it he thought if Jesus really is God, and if He healed my cows, (which he only had 6 left and they were very sick), then I will follow Him. He told us that he called upon the name of Jesus and that God miraculously healed his 6 cows. After one week he came back into town in search of our team. We have now received word that our missionary has went to that village and preached the Gospel. This man was among 8 people that were baptized. Praise the Lord!

The Lord is blessing this outreach ministry with more souls coming to the Lord through literature. It is thrilling to us when people rush to where we are distributing literature just so they can get one piece. At a crusade in Arunachal Pradesh I sent five bags of tracts, magazines and some Bibles with our youth teams to distribute. They distributed only for an half an hour and then all the literature was gone, as all was taken by the people who are so happily rushing our youth. Only the Bibles were kept to give to those who have no Bible. It was reported that over 15,000 came from all over the area, but we could not give to all because we ran out. The demand for literature is very great!! We are trying to do as much as we can. Brother how much I am thankful to you for your love and concern for the lost. Spirit filled believers are boldly declaring the power of God and hundreds of miraculous healings and deliverance are being done in Jesus name. Youth from local churches are organized to witness the gospel and distribute literatures despite the harassment from the opposition. As a result many heathens have come to the knowledge of God. Our hearts are filled with praising and thanking the Lord as we look back in the past, and think of the people who were in darkness and lived in the regions where the gospel had never been preached and missionaries were not allowed, but by the help of literature have seen the great light of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Now Tens of thousands of believers are worshipping the Lord Jesus Christ 3-4 times a week. Churches have been built in many places that were forbidden territories. It has been the literature ministry that has proved to be the most effective means of reaching these areas. There are many more things I could tell you, but I will close here. I just wanted you to know the position of the churches here. We are in the midst of a challenging situation , but are still reaching out to those in darkness.

We never cease to pray for you and believe that God is blessing you. Our field workers, missionaries and evangelists need English literature desperately. We currently are out and so are unable to sent them out. North-Eastern India is a troubled area, and preaching and open air meetings have become very difficult. But in such a time we need more literatures, so we can visit house to house and personally witness. There are also many gatherings of people in sports events and other purposes but we are missing the opportunity because we don’t have literatures. This is an appeal and a request to help us.

I am so grateful for your continued sending the Love Packages to me. I was out of station on mission tour to the north and after that I went with a team to western India visiting to see the works of our young boys and girls who are working among the SLUM in the cities. I was thrilled to see how the teams works in the SLUM. They carried soaps, nailcutter, and helped the childrens in hairdressing hair, cutting, bathing and give them cloths, and teached a song and give the people a tract. This kinds of operation is to show how our Lord Jesus love the rejected by man but God loves them.

The traveling missionaries formed groups of five and travel in unreached regions carrying lots of Bibles and literature. They were again getting ready to go to Burma and Arunchal when they came by and asked me to arrange as much Christian literature as possible. They said they could not go without it, as many who have accepted Christ already, were waiting for Bibles and reading materials. It was a great joy for me and them when the packages arrived here. We repacked them and they are being carried on their journey. Some Bibles I have kept for the people in lower Burma, they may be here at any time. We want to once again thank you sincerely for the wonderful literature you have sent in the container. This is a real answer to our prayers. The container arrived at such a time when we have summer Bible Classes (VBS) and we have conducted several training programmes for pastors and teachers who are involved in child evangelism. There are many partners who are coming to our office to collect the VBS materials and when they saw the valuable children's packets you sent, they were filled with much pleasure. One pastor said that These materials are sent to India and it is a proof that God loves Indian children very much. We distributed several hundreds of packets to Missionary organizations such as YWAM, Youth for Christ, Blessing Youth Mission, Friends Missionary Prayer Band and these missionaries are working in all nooks and corners of India where people have not heard the name of Jesus. There are no words to express our thanks as your literature has blessed hundreds and thousands of children in India. Many schools here have taken the children's VBS kits, magazines and Bible Study books for their library. All the used Bibles that we received blessed many poor evangelists and Bible college students and these were distributed within two days' time. There is a great need for these used Bibles as many people cannot afford to buy one. (Note: The container had over 5,000 used bibles in it!! Distributed in 2 days!)

Our vacation bible school program went well and was a great blessing. Three hundred children attended. On the last day during the commitment time, a boy from the primary class came forward and shared his decision with tears in his eyes. He said he used to tell a lot of lies to his mother, and he is not going to do that anymore. As the boy spoke, his mother was sitting at the back of the room. She came to one of the teachers after the program and said she was surprised to see her son make this decision. Weeping, she said she now wanted to attend a church regularly because if her son could change within these three days, then Jesus Christ should be the real God. She has been guided to a nearby Church. All glory to the Lord! This report illustrates only a small portion of the great things God did in the lives of more than 60,000 children this summer in India. Approximately 500 VBS programs were held and at least 10,000 children gave their lives to Jesus! That thrills me, we had a part in that by suppling the VBS Kits.

Yesterday a young man came to my house and stated he was a drug addict for four years. He said that his relatives tried to help him stop but he could not. He told me he was at his last stage,when he got a book from us written by Nicky Cruz. As he read, he decided to go to rehabilitation center, he willingly surrendered to God and is now set free. He came for gospel tracts and other Christian materials to help those who are still bound.

Thank you very much. I have receive 4 boxes of Holy Bibles and 1 box of mini booklets - God Loves You from Sowers of Seed Inc. Due to flood and landslide, roads toward Kohima was completely blockage, so that I could not write earlier. I am so happy for those bibles as our gospel workers needed them. As soon as I received those boxes, I send words to our partners and 4 parties have come and collected their shares. It is a blessing for us when I could sent and spreading the words of God in the regions where the people were waiting and praying for the word of God. Many newly born in the kingdom of God are desirous to own a bible, but most of them are very poor, cannot afford to buy one, also it is not available. We thank and praise God for His faithfulness that through the Love Package we are enabled to help those who are in need of bible. God has blessed us and filled our hearts with joy whenever we could send and give the words to the people who are thirsty and hungry for the word of God. I am blessed and the churches are blessed in many ways, physically and spiritually. The believers are happy.

Thank you so much for continuing sending me the Love Packages. I received 3 packages and the New Testament and also some cloths, and books, also 2 reels of the 16mm films. All are in good condition and in tact. The Lord has blessed so wonderfully through the Love Packages which we could reach out the gospel of our Lord in many unreached regions and helped the believers with bibles and other reading materials. As the believers and gospel workers from very far travelling for 3 to 6 days come to me for the bible and reading materials, I am happy when I could give them the requirement of their need. But without your help I cannot do anything. I have been praying for the films and video, and the Lord has put in the hearts of some one to donate and believed God has answered our prayer. I am so grateful to you brother for your love and concern for the lost souls. I rejoice to hear a report from the pastors and missionaries who used to come and telling us how the Lord is working and saved and delivered peoples from the hand of Satan. and added to the kingdom of His son Jesus Christ. I think that given the words in printing is more important than other things, the word of God in print is more effective to winning the lost and also to encourage the believers witness in their own localities. Our youths are very active and voluntarily taking the distribution works and even travelling with literatures.

Love packages, today we got some Bible study material from your office Operation Love. We are taking these books to the middleast. Dubai. We are working among the Muslims. It is very hard to reach Muslims. We have some underground Churches and we are distributing the literature in the Gulf countries. Last year one brother was in jail because he distributed Bibles. But he is now free again. We need your prayers and we need you to continue to send literature to India. We can easily get literature into the Gulf countries from there.

Thank you very much for another 5 boxes of Love Packages that came to me this week. The consignment which I received earlier, I have sent through our carriage to the Pastors of Arunachal Pradesh. The churches in Arunachal Pradesh desperately need many Bible and reading materials. The Holy Spirit is moving mightily in that forbidden regions, the revival fire is burning the hearts of the believers with a great desire to witness and reaching as much as possible the lost souls for Christ. There are thousands of new converted and many of them are educated and they desire to read the Bible, but the Bible is not available in their area. They are requesting us to arrange literature and help them. All the bibles and reading materials which I received from you I sent to that region. We cannot send by other means except by carriage since the law is banned on Christian missions etc. and Bible and other materials also are not allowed, so if they suspect of such consignment they will be destroyed. But thank God our consignment has reached the destination safely. The Lord has blessed and greatly helped the pastors and the churches in many parts of this regions through the Love Package ministry. The poor Sunday school children was blessed as well as many believers was blessed by the Love Packages. God also confirmed His words with miracles and wonder. Healing and deliverance took place to many people who request prayer from their pastors and evangelists after reading.

Thank you so very much for the Love Packages which we have just received. We are so happy and grateful to you for the love and concern that you have for lost souls. Even though our outreach is slow, the Lord is blessing with more souls. Recently two brothers came to Kohima from the Bhutan area and were seeking to be baptized. They were Buddhist. According to their testimony while they were in college in West Bengal, someone gave them our magazines and tracts. After they had gone through those tracts and magazines they found out that salvation is a gift of God and that there is only one way to get it. Only through Jesus Christ. They had been searching for peace and assurance for their salvation in their own religion for many years, but could not find it. After reading the literature they started to go to a Full Gospel fellowship near the college and were convinced that Jesus was the only way. So they accepted Christ and desired to be baptized. They went home during vacation and told their mother that they had become a Christian. She was very highly educated and had read about Christ but was not converted. She did not oppose them but told them not to be baptized in Bhutan but, to come to Nagaland to be baptized. They came with their mother and on October 23rd they were baptized in the Baptist church. After that they came to my house and I presented to them a new Holy Bible. They were so happy! Literature plays an important role in winning souls. We are always thanking God for your continued help with literatures. It encourages us. We are doing our best with the help of God.
(Steve’s note: The reason mom didn’t want her sons to be baptized in Bhutan is because baptism means that you have converted to Christianity and they could have been beaten or killed.)

Even though there is so much opposition and allegations against us Christians here in India, the Lord is still blessing our works with souls. In September 14 people were baptized and in October so far 8 have been baptized and decided to follow Jesus. All were from Hindu background. One Muslim came to my house and asked for a Bible, he told me that he had accepted Christ and wanted a Bible but could not afford to buy one, so I gave him one. I have sent all the other Bibles I have received from you to the Bhutan border areas, and to the newly born again. Also to one pastor who needed a Bible. I am grateful for your continual supply of Love Packages which I can give to the very needy who so desire to read God’s word.

The dry season has come and we are starting to show the films that you sent us. I have great satisfaction in seeing the people watching and listening. Most have never heard or know anything about the story of Jesus. It is my desire that the film show be not for entertainment but to reach people with the gospel. I have very little literature left, so I could not give to all, only a few. I need more literatures when we are showing the films for this is a great opportunity for spreading the gospel of salvation.

Christian neighbors had tried to give a woman and her family literature and a Bible. They told them that this was God’s Word and it was Holy, but were rejected and rebuffed by them. “We are Hindus don’t you understand, we are not Christian!” However, last week the Hindu woman went into labor but could not deliver. After a day and a half the woman became very weak and cried out to her husband to go get the Christian’s Holy book and come back. The Christians brought a Bible to her and she laid it on her stomach and prayed - God of this Holy book please help me. A very short time later and the baby was born. They have now received the Bible and other literatures and want to know more about Christ.

Early one morning the Lord spoke to me to go to a small village where we had never been before. To reach there we had to go by train for about three hours, walk about four miles, cross a river and then walk again. Thus it took us a whole day to reach there. I was standing on the corner of the street with Gospels and other books upon my left arm. One young man passed by and saw me with the books. He stopped and questioned me about who I was, and why I was there. I told him I was a Christian, and had come to invite people to come to Him for forgiveness. He said he was a Muslim and that the village had never allowed a Christian to preach there. In a few words I gave him my testimony of how Christ changed my life a few years ago even though I hated Him and blasphemed Him. Having heard my testimony he asked me where I was staying. I told him, I was staying the same place I was standing. He said, ‘you can stay with me tonight and give a message.’ He sent his servants to invite both Hindus and Moslems. After a word of prayer, I gave a message and closed the meeting. Afterwards we had food together. At that time a man said to me, ‘The Lord has sent you here for my sake.’ Someone had given him a gospel which he had read several times. He was waiting and praying to know more about the only way of salvation and wanted to have a full Bible. Before I left the Lord instructed me to take a full Bible with me. I gave him the Bible and he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior.

I am glad to take this privilege to share with you about our works in this region. We made a visit to many places to share and encourage the believers with the gospel of Jesus Christ. We were thrilled to hear the testimonies and reports by Pastors and gospel workers about the effectiveness of the Love Packages literature which we sent to them and distributed in the past. Many of them stated that they are still enjoying the messages in the magazines and tracts. Brother, thank you very much for those video cassettes on The Life of Jesus Christ. It is being shown in many churches and to the children. Please continue to send me at least two or three packages each month. We need them very much.

Mr. Ram Mohan was from a Brahim Family (idol worshippers) and he was an alcoholic. He never used to go to work because of his constant drinking habit. He was shunned by his family. One day while he was under the influence of liquor, a believer came to him and said that "Jesus loves you". Mr. Ram Mohan was very annoyed at this man who kept saying to him "Jesus loves you". But after some days God started to work on him and he began to wonder why Jesus should love him. He bought himself a bible, read the life giving word and eventually accepted Jesus as his personal saviour. He says now that even for a moment he does not want to think about his past life which he compares it as a life of a pig. Now he is doing full time ministry among the children and young people. It was touching to see him weep while he said "Great is His Love".

We are starting our film show and last month we showed in two places. It is very satisfying to see so many people are watching and listening and most of the watchers have never heard or know about the story of Jesus. It is the first, and for many it might be they never have a chance to hear or to see again. It is my desired that film show is not for entertainment, but for reaching the unreached with the gospel of Jesus Christ with literatures, since I have very little literature I could not give to all but to fews. If we could give them literatures or pamphlets people who have seen or heard are made easy to understand or they could study further of what they have seen and heard. Our message would have effect and remind them of the message for the days to come and not for just that moment. I need literatures when we showing film for this is an opportunity of spreading the gospel of Salvation. Though there is so much opposition and allegation against us as Christians in our country, but the Lord is blessing our works with more souls, in last month - 14 people were baptized and this month - 8 were baptized and are from Hindu background. In the first week of this month, a group of believers from the border of Burma came to me and collected as much as they could carry - Bibles and literature. According to them the Sunday School childrens are growing so much and they need more childs evangelism materials. Since I don’t have much materials at present I collected some old materials from our Sunday School teacher and give them with a promise to keep for them whenever I receive from the Love Package. Also our youths were conducting Evangelistic Crusade during holiday season in West Bengal and Bhutan border. They distributed many tract and give out some bible to the new converted, many heathens came to see what kind of religion this people preaching and called the sick to come for prayer, one old man came in and he was brought by his family member because he could not walk for 7 months, and the Lord confirmed His words and healed that man and he gave his heart to the Lord, many people were amazed of the wonderful miraculous healing of the lame. After this miracle many people come for healing and deliverance. The Lord healed many more and delivered them that were bound by the power of satan. I am so thankful to you for your love and concerned which give us the literatures which is the most importance tools for the outreaching ministry.

I am serving in this Maranatha Church as a Sunday school teacher. I thank God for the wonderful book which you sent to our Pastor, the book called Elementary Teacher's guide and Basic Training Elementary, 3rd, 4th graders Lifeway book. I am really enjoying very much in reading and teaching to the Sunday school children through the book, which you sent. As I was reading the Elementary Teacher's guide, my heart was touched by the message that all students need to apply the bible to their lives and I need to reach everyone I teach. As I was teaching lesson 2 about Jesus' sacrifice and memory words a few children began to cry and accepted Jesus as their God as they were hearing about the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. Through our Sunday school ministry, now 150 children are attending Sunday Schools in three different places. Right now we have 8 Sunday School teachers., therefore we need a lot of materials, books, etc. We are praying for you and your ministry.

Again this last week, three groups of believers came to collect literature and Bibles. One group came from Nepal, and two groups came from Burma. Those packages, which I received from you last time, I divided into 3 and gave them so that they will not return empty. God is so wonderful I have not had to turn any one away without giving them some thing they need. Especially the people with hope, they walked together for months just to get some Bibles. The Lord is still opening the door for the literatures to go through into far away places reaching up to China and many areas of Burma and even Nepal and around the regions of north India too. Thank you for continuing to supply us with the Love Packages so that many needy were blessed through the packages.

Thank you very much for another 2 packages received last week. Since we began the literature ministry there has been someone somewhere getting saved. Thousands have come to the Lord and tens of thousands have received a witness through Love Packages literature. The first week of August, 3 brothers came to us and gave us testimony of how they gave their lives to Christ because of our literature. All were from a Hindu background. One gave a wonderful testimony. According to him he became paralyzed because of a spinal-cord injury. He was treated by many doctors but continued to get worse. He wanted to take his own life but was unable because of the paralysis. One day his uncle came to visit him. His uncle had been blind for two years, so he was surprised to see him healed.
The uncle said I heard about your accident and have come to tell you there is a way to be healed. I heard a man preaching about Jesus and I prayed to Him and was healed, so I want you to believe in Jesus. The uncle gave him a tract but he would not believe or even read it,even though he kept it. He said my father is a Hindu, I am a Hindu. and my mother is completely against Christianity, but on seeing him suffer, his father told him to try believing on Jesus. That night he read the tract. It said. "Come to me all you who are weary and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest," After reading the tract he started to pray and promised to give his life to Christ if He would heal him. Suddenly he felt like a electric shock from head to toe and he was healed. Now he is traveling all over the country telling that Jesus is saviour and is alive. All of his family have also become believers. I just wanted to write because the effectiveness of literature is tremendous. If this small tract had not been given to this young man, I believe he would still be in bed or dead. But praise God a small piece of literature has saved him and all his family.

God has blessed us with many more lost souls. I from time to time baptize Hindu’s who have been converted and I present them with a Bible. I am so thankful to you for these Bibles which I have received. I have nothing to give you but my prayers.

The purpose of this writing is to just say hello and to tell you how God has blessed the people through Love Packages Ministries. The Lord Jesus Christ has confirmed His Word with miracles, deliverance from depression and from the power of satan, as well as healing many sick people. We rejoice when letters come to us with testimonies of God’s marvelous healing and deliverance. The people carefully keep the literatrure and re-read it many times. God is using this literature for spiritual help and encouragement in countless areas and regions in this part of the world. We receive many requests for more literature. The message of love, mercy, deliverance, and healing are the most important and the people need to know them. Thank God for the privelge of sharing the message of God’s love and concern with the peoples. Missionaries and pastors have recognized the effectivenness of literature as many lives have been touched by the words of God.

I believe you remember Arunachal Pradesh which I used to write to you about. It was closed door to the Gospel, no missionaries nor evangelists were allowed, but 16 years ago we started sending men to distribute our Love Packages literature in those areas. The Lord has worked miraculously and the Gospel of our Lord has penetrated deep into the hearts of the lost souls and turned the people from darkness to light. Praise the Lord. I just wanted to share with you this report. Last week an evangelist and some people from Arunachal Pradesh came to see me, and told me that a Holy Spirit revival was moving and sweeping over their state. They reported over 130 Churches have begun and are growing substantially even though it is still forbidden to evangelize or have any missions program. The church has become very strong and now they have come from underground to overground and are proclaiming the Gospel openly. The leaders have even decided to organize a state wide convention in December . Large numbers of believers are expected to attend. I haven’t written much detail, but wanted to remind you that because of your sacrifice of sending me so much literature and Bibles to distribute, that these regions are now being saved. Thanks. It was the literature that opened the door.
The Spirit of the Lord is moving especially in the hearts of the higher authorities of government, also the politicians / public leaders, with this encouragement the churches are organizing the convention.

With out the support of Elders like you it is not possible for us to go to most remote villages and dangerous places to preach the word of God. Even though our pastors faced a severe problem in one of the village our Lord has given us a victory over the enemy. This month we had a very much good experience and more converts.
In one of the villages near Kathipudu Pastor Moses with his team going to preach the gospel were attacked by drunken Hindu villagers. When our pastor gave tracts to Hindus few people came and tried to attack the pastors, it became a big discussion with them and by Gods grace that villages president is Christian (converted recently). He entered the Scene and made it calm .Praise God for it. Finally we had very good result in that village. We had nearly 60 converts in that village. These people worship Rocks and trees. They don’t know
who is Christ. Our group when singing songs some of the women and youth and older people were attracted to it and they came to listen the gospel and some received Christ in that place. I am very much happy about it.

Thank you very much for another two packages of the Love Packages came to me last week. I am grateful to the Lord for His faithfulness. He leads and feeds those who desire to grow spiritually, and many believers are rejoicing in the Lord as they testify that from the day they accepted Christ their hearts are longing for guidance and understanding of the whole word of God. But there is no other way to get material from any other source, but by us, with the help of the Love Package. Therefore the churches from across the borders and those who live in a remote regions are sending their men to me for collecting whatsoever we could give them. There are bible and book in the cities, but they are not able to afford to buy, as most of the people are very poor, and they would have to walk for 4-6 days on foot. My name is Jayaraj, born and brought up in strong Hindu family, but I had a thirst to read Bible, but my family does not allow me to read Bible. Since I studied in Christian school, I got more thirst on Jesus Christ, because he died for me and for all man kind. Last two months back God sent Pastor Manovah to my house while he visiting to houses for the literatures distribution. That time God helped me to meet him. After meeting him, I contacted him though the phone, and he invited me to his church and gave me a good Bible which is great help to me to know about God's word, that will lead me to salvation. Please pray for me that God should touch my family members and they also should come to Christ. Now I am personally reading Bible in the bedroom. I feel sad that I had lost my time so long. In fact now I thank God for giving me time to read His eternal word. I also am attending prayer group personally. If my family come to know that I am reading Bible they will send me out of my house. Thank you very much for another 4 packages. I was very happy for I could sent some books and teaching materials to the School of Ministry. The Lord is blessing the participants though the training is short. At present preaching inside Nepal is very difficult due to political problems. Bhutan is still closed for the Gospel, but many secret believers coming to participate in the training. Also people from Burma came twice for literature and bibles. Christians in Burma are in great difficulties and hardship because of the Army Operation, and many churches were closed and many people lost their bibles. A pastor came to me and requested bibles. I only had 3 to give him but he was so happy! Some literatures I distributed here and the neighbors states, some people called me to give testimonies of how the Lord has blessed them through reading literature and how they have grown spiritually and some have been healed of their sickness.
