The Literature has contributed to our tremendous growth and expansion. I have been very busy the last two months travelling to do leadership meetings and making sure I am back Sunday morning for church. The work at church has also been easy as we have enough leaders. Thanks for the Literature. Our cell churches are growing and bible study groups also growing as we have enough materials to work with. Wherever we have been going, we have given literature to over 5,000 leaders.

We are writing to say Thank You for the Christian books, Bibles and Sunday school materials. We hope to use these during the year in the villages of Kisumu rural areas where not many has bibles even the pastors who borrows from brothers who are privileged to have one. Our plan is to only avail the bibles we have to the pastor and one elder so we can help at least 10 churches.

We had a 2 week crusade in Maasai land as a way of practical lessons and attachments for our students. It was great to see about 80 people giving their lives to Jesus as a result of this wonderful event. We are glad to be able to use materials that we got through you from Love Packages. They became very helpful and of much value at this mission. We were able to distribute literature materials to the people who attended. We had over 300 attend per day.

One pastor had just began a cell group meeting and had looked everywhere for study materials but all was in Vain. He had that we were having a pastors meeting and when he popped in he saw something on the table. We had written a note - Love package. We wanted to bless every pastor after the meeting. When he opened his package, he found something he had been believing God for for years.

I’m really, really grateful for the gifts. Sincerely everyone is grateful and happy. I’m pleased to inform you that people are being blessed through the books. I have distributed the books to certain groups. One group comprises nurses and medical workers in a government hospital which is very very busy. These are people who have devoted themselves to pray for the sick and minister at large in the hospital wards. I entrusted one nurse to be in charge of the books and to monitor their circulation among the nurses and she is doing a wonderful job. Nurses take the books and read when they are off duty, when they are finished they return them to her office. Then she gives them to some other one. I am so grateful that they are reading and that God is changing them. The Bibles you sent me, I desired to keep for myself, but I saw the needs of other people. The King James Bible I gave to a brother who just gave his life to Christ. Another one the Life Application Bible for Students I desired very much to keep it at first because I did not have a study Bible and second because it was very nice. But I saw someone who just didn’t have a desire but a real need so I gave it to him. I believe I have honored the Lord and He will see this as seed.

I just received parcels of Sunday school literature and I am so pleased. I thought it was going to be for my juniors, but it was for Adults. They will appreciate it. We were just starting a young married class and in one of the boxes, there were books just for them. Isn’t God good! You blessed many and I am so pleased.

Greetings. I write to appreciate you for the gift of books. They are a blessing to me and have helped me to grow and develop my God given gift of intercession. Personally am a nurse by profession and work in a government hospital as a result am a member of Kenya Hospitals Medical Workers Fellowship (which is a fellowship for born again medical workers countrywide who believe in prayer and God’s healing power) We come together to preach Jesus and pray for the sick in our respective hospitals. I do belong to another group that convenes every lunch time to pray for our city and preach, called Kitale Interdenominational Lunch Hour Fellowship. Despite all these responsibilities, I have always made myself available to be used of God in intercession. The book “Prayers that Avail Much” has been a blessing to me and has taught me new ways of praying effectively using scriptures for my family, career, employer, ministry and much more. Another book “Pathway to the Heart of God” by Terry Glaspey has done me good by answering questions about prayer. I’ve been searching for books on how to enlarge my circle of prayer, how I can effectively listen to God and tap heaven’s instructions and how to pray without ceasing. Generally the books are a wonder and a blessing to me and my ministry of intercession. I’m really grateful. God bless you.
We are reaching hundreds of people though the knowledge we are getting from the literature you have provided. Many churches are growing in our city because many pastors are coming to borrow Love Packages literature that we have. The books you have sent us have been a tremendous blessing. Steve, you better come and see for yourself what Love Packages literature is doing. Thank you very much for the package of audio tapes and books that I received late last year. I greatly appreciate your concern. You know here in Kenya we hardly ever get a chance to hear from such wonderful teachers and ministers of the gospel. I am privileged to have received such wonderful teaching by Charles Stanley though your ministry. I imagine myself sitting in one of the live meetings while I listen to one of his many tapes. I also received a brown Thompson Chain Reference Bible. I immediately transferred all my treasures from my Bible to the new one. I have given my other Bible away already to another brother who needed one badly. So far I have given away 40 Bibles from your ministry. Many people are now asking me for Bibles, there is a shortage here in our country.

I am writing to request used literature, Bibles, Sunday School materials, books, Etc. Since October of last year we have had continual rain which has caused floods and destroyed a lot of things. Our church was flooded and we have lost all of our books and Sunday school materials. They have been completely swept by the flood and have left us with nothing. Kindly think on us and help us.

The literature you sent to us this past summer, we have put to good use. We have started a library and reading room in Kitale with the books that you sent. For our church members it is a library, but for the city it is a reading room. Kitale is quite a large town but really did not have anything like this before. The interest has been so great that our building has been unable to hold all the people. The people were pressing in like sardines. We have had no room to move. We have had to resort to taking appointments so that it's not so crowded. Everyone is interested in reading our good books. So far several people have made decisions to follow CHRIST after they read the books and we talked to them. God said that His word would not return void. You can be sure that the Love Packages literature you send is bringing in a great harvest here in Kenya.

We received the consignment of Bibles, books, and literature from Love Packages. As of now, we have served 200 churches in Kenya and Uganda. We have received testimonies from these churches on how the materials have been a great blessing to them. The materials have brought great enlightenment to pastors and other leaders as they now have deeper insights in God’s Word and they can minister with greater confidence after being enriched by these materials. We have given out tracts at crusades, seminars, and house to house. We have also distributed Bibles and yet the demand for Bibles is still so great. Many people have never set their eyes on such good quality Bibles like the ones Love Packages sent to us. We do hope that we can receive more Bibles and books soon, so as to continue with what we have started here. Indeed there is a great hunger and thirst for God’s word in Africa. The demand is so great.
We have set up a library at the mission station that is open to all people. One member of the library recently testified that she had never known about tithing until she read a book from the library. Now she gives with great joy. We have also created a mobile library by which we can reach high schools and other institutions. We have even served theological institutions and these materials have been greatly appreciated by both the students and teachers. The materials have acted as a school of the Spirit because the contents were far more than what you receive in a Bible school in this country. The materials on cults have caused many to see the error in their organizations and many have repented and given their lives to Christ. The Sunday school literature is creating great interest and is increasing attendance everywhere it has gone.
The tracts and books have been very effective in house to house witnessing. Just to mention Grace Community outreaches alone, close to two thousand people have read of the good news of Jesus Christ and accepted Him as Lord and savior in the past six months alone. And that number multiplies greatly if we put together all the different churches that have benefited from the literature from Love Packages. The materials we received have gone to over fifty different denominations in East Africa.
Let me close by saying how truly grateful we are to the Lord for your labor of sacrifice. Though these materials the bride of Christ is becoming more and more attractive. You have brought salvation, joy, knowledge, wisdom, and understanding to many people. Thank you for being obedient. YOU HAVE INVESTED WISELY! We have no doubt that the Lord will continue strengthening you physically, spiritually, and financially as you continue in this great assignment of impacting the nations though literature.

We really appreciate for the kind of love and your brotherhood to us by sending us such wonderful books. They are really blessing us here and especially putting in mind that most students are youth. They are learning to put Jesus their foundation of life. Many students are giving their lives to Jesus and the number of attending bible study that we conduct on every Sunday afternoon has tremendously increased from fifty to seventy. Receive our greetings from Kenya. Our library is doing okay, although we still lack enough books. Right now the membership has increased from 50 to 120 permanent members. People are bicycling from very far. As far as 30 miles to come and read and borrow Love Packages books. This small library is effecting a very big part of Kitale. Steve you are really a big blessing to us. Many churches are now using the library.

So far we have registered about 800 who have gotten saved by reading Love Packages literature in the 9 months since we have opened our reading room and library. We share the Word with anyone who comes to our library to read. We don’t have so much materials but with the few books, tapes, and other literature from Love Packages our small room is filled up. About 50 people come to read everyday. Many Churches have also been coming in for materials.
I have also been offering lessons on how to use a concordance and a Thompson Chain reference Bible. Thanks a lot for teaching me how to use them and other books too.
Love Packages literature is really bringing people together. We now have 9 weekly fellowships for our new converts and for our regular readers. What a blessing! Send us more literature if possible, I am thinking of starting another library with by brother Jonathan in Webuye Kenya.

Several years ago I met a young man by the name of John Kimayio at a pastors conference that I was doing in Bungoma, up by the Ugandan border of Kenya.
The Lord really impressed me concerning the quality of this young man. When I returned to the States we began to send mail bags of literature to John.
When I went to Kenya this time I wrote John and told him I was coming, and for him to come and find me, which he did. Well come to find out, his home was only about 10 miles from where I was staying. So he invited me to come to his home. John lives in a 12 x12’ mud hut with a thatched roof, with his wife and three sons. It was a great joy for them to have me there, and a great joy for me too. They served me tea and bread. The best they had. John then showed me his pride and joy, “The Moisbridge Pastors Library”. There in the hut was four selves of books that Love Packages had sent. What a blessing to see them!! But then John took out a notebook and begin to show me literally hundreds of names of people who had checked out the books. He then began to share with me how this person had given their life to Christ, and that one had been called to preach, this one didn’t commit suicide, this family was restored, this one was healed, and this one was delivered from drugs. As I listened to the stories I began to cry as I thought about the wonderful grace and mercy that the Lord had poured out by the Spirit through these few books.

The materials we received have generated hope in the lives of several Christians, especially those who were displaced from their lands by tribal clashes. After reading the texts and studying the bible, many have come to Christ and live according to the principles of Christian faith. A majority have become role models in the society. Some materials have been shared with pastors in Uganda. They have reported that God has used the materials to bring deliverence from resentment, disunity and misconception to His people. It has led to the reunion of several marriages who were divorced.

Praise the Lord! We are delighted as a body of Christ to share with you what the Lord is doing in our country through your faithful donation of reading materials. They have helped us to penetrate unreached places with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Many have received Christ, been equipped and sent out to be fishers of men. Many others have increased their faith and received miracles through the study of the word of God. Those who could not afford to buy a bible said, “This is a gift from God!”
